Not sure. I'll tell you this thoughts they, have the best pizza around. Enjoy!!
Expensive but very delicious pizza just off the beaten path in Forest Hills. Expect $30 for a large pie, but you will be happy with that pie. Easily on par with Grimaldi and a similar style, for a reference point.
I enjoy the pizza here whenever I have time. It is an unassuming place.
Wow this is some great pizza!!!I ordered to go and the pizza was still some of the best I have ever had! And I have pizza everyday - so I think that is saying something. The service was great! Staff was very helpful and the pizza came out quick. Best of all the place was actually clean!!! I don't think I have seen cleaner bathrooms at a restaurant! Highly recommend!!
Enter & it's a cute, intimate space. It was very busy, families & couples etc. Very family oriented. Space is small so can be noisy, but still cool. Waiter was a very nice kid(red head), very pleasant. We ordered capresse salad( mozzarella & tomatoes drizzled with olive oil). A Large pizza; Mushroom, spinach & feta toppings. Hardly finishing appetizer & pizza was on the table. Steamy hot & delicious smell. The pizza was DELICIOUS, never realized feta could be so good on pizza. We ordered a GRANDMA with double garlic & onion, folks it's that good. The service is superb, we shall return.
What can I say, Nicky's Pizza is doing it right... Simple menu, pizza, salad and calzones, all made right! The small salad is easily for two, same for the calzone...Fresh ingredients, consistently prepared and the wait staff is very helpful. This place is just amazing...It's located in Forest Hills, NY. The parking is tricky and it's cash only...Well worth a try!!! I've probably been 100 times minimum....😍
Great pizza there margarita pizza is very good little pricy but really good
Great place! Been eating for years. Excellent pizza and salads
Best pizza in queens. Best cannoli, period. Great service. Awesome decor. Highly recommended. A++++
We walked by this place and decided to pick something up. Pizza is soooo good! A little pricey but would say worth it!:) would go back again!!
Cant pass up eating here. Pizza is delicious. Good for any size group really. It can get really busy around dinner time on fridays/weekends. During these times the service is sometimes inconsistent. The ceasar salad is a bit pricey but sooo good
I have been at Nick's pizza many many times. I love their calzone with broccoli rabe. Pizza is pretty good, too.
I love this place. I can’t say enough good things about it. I grew up in the same neighborhood the restaurant is located at, so been going here for over 25 years. The pizza is delicious and the service is good. There are 2 waiters that have been working here for over 15 years and it’s wonderful to see them every time we’ve eaten here. We come here a few times a year and it always hits the spot. Be prepared to wait to be seated (there is always a wait for dinner). Their new ‘grandma pizza’ is delicious but I love the classic half red / half white pizza.
We love the regular pie with hot cherry peppers really yummy! Not sure of it hits the comfort food spot though🤔
I come to Nicks WEEKLY! Definitely worth the wait! Always give me friendly, quick service. The pizza is delicious! Also the best calzone I ever had!
I give it a 7 out of 10
Super cozy neighborhood Pizzeria with delicious food
Cant keep their orders straight! Lost my order after calling to confirm 2x
The pizza taste amazing and comes straight out of the oven and the cheese was the best it was stringy and do tasty
Great rustic ambiance. Awesome wait staff. Only problem is they are a bit stingy... they wanted to charge us $3.75 for a little bit of pizza sauce. There was not enough on the pie...Unbelievable. Enough of a issue that I probably wont come back. And to go from 5 stars to 3.
Little sit down pizza restaurant in Forest Hills. It's a very small place. The waitress is really nice and the pizza we ordered was ready in a timely manner. They have nice soda choices. The plain pizza is an ok price but once you start adding toppings it gets really pricey. But since it's really good old fashion local pizza, I don't mind. It reminds me of old school.
From my experience in several occasions: Subtle racism but good pizza. It’s disheartening, and of the two aforementioned, the subtle racism overrides the good pizza.
Love this place and their Grandma pie which is good for two people.
Curbside service on point, staff are super friendly. Pizza was delicious, crust was slightly charred (how I prefer it ), a little soft though. Definitely worth a visit .
Food is amazing service is ok
Excellent ingredients and amazing taste.i've never had a bad pie here.A bit on the pricey side but you're getting what you pay for here.
Outstanding service and pizza. Very clean restaurant with reasonably comfortable seating. They serve the pizza in trays - no slices. great salads and wines. Thin crisp crust and fresh toppings.
I Order large white pizza to go- received Large size Regular pie . Owner refused to change the order , because and I quote “I would have asked you if you wanted mozzarella on it “ white slice is made with mozzarella !
Awful experience... Enjoyed pizza there with my friends (pizza was good btw). After we went out a waitress run out with our receipt and the tip we left, and told us the check didn't include tip, and that she didn't get her money (holding the tip we left in her hands). So we added some money to satisfy her expectations... Absolutely unpleasant impressions.Respond: How could it not be a member of your team? Do you say that a random stranger can come to your restaurant and serve your clients?? It was your stuff member, who chased us for "an appropriate" tip after we left. Shame on your team.
Definitely in the top 5 pizza spots in New York City.I went with a half pepperoni and half prosciutto. Just kiss your hand and say mama Mia!Great crust to sauce ratio and the pepperoni is actual pepperoni. Great taste and the environment is lovely and welcoming.
Great little pizza spot. I loved all the ingredients, the high quality of the ingredients and the friendly staff. I would definitely come here again and watch all the cute families in the neighborhoods walk by. Also, this stop is halfway between JFK and LGA, so if you need a bite between transfers, great for that. Such a cute neighborhood.
Just ordered carryout; can't speak to service experience, but the pizza was excellent. Great crust. Eat when warm to enjoy it best.
Wait staff is always very friendly. The pizza has a brick oven taste without being baked in an authentic Brick Oven. The cannolis are to die for, so is the cappuccino.
Nick's Pizza is the best pizza in Queens and one of the top pizza spots in all of NYC. No slices, no sides, just pizzas. This place is great with fantastic, fast service. The old school feel is great and the historic photos bring you back. The cannoli is highly underrated
My and my husband's favorite place and favorite pizza...he wanted to have an apartment nearby just to be near Nick's. The servers are extraordinary. Get a roomy, comfy booth if you can.
I placed a pick up order of the large pie with 3 toppings and two bottles of the same beer. The order was ready at the scheduled pick-up time. The pizza and toppings tasted fresh and delicious. I forgot the name of the beer but I believe it was an ale. It was light and refreshing. The only issue I had was ordering 3 toppings. It was too much for what the thin crust can handle. The pizza easily fell apart in my hands. I believe that there should only be a limit of one to two toppings per pie.
First time getting a pie here and it's delicious. We got the half white and half red pepperoni and mozzarella pie. Pie tasted fresh even after we got home half an hour later. Will definitely be back.
Best brick oven pizza in the neighborhood! The calzone could use more pizzazz, but the margarita is a classic.
Incredible Pizza... Almost makes you feel like it's healthy.
Trying Nick’s was love at first bite! It’s clear that they use fresh, high quality ingredients. We ordered online and our pie was ready in about 15 minutes. I can’t wait to go back again!
One of the best in the city! Their pizza is simply delicious!
The food was delicious amd the service speed ultra fast. The servers were polite and friendly. I was expecting tje glass of wine to be bigger. I give 4 stars mainly for the decor. It needs renovation as i see it.
Nick’s pizza is the best brick oven pizza in Forest Hills, possibly even all of Queens. It is a staple in the community that gives Danny’s house of pizza a run for its money. It is consistently good, service is great and is affordable. My family dines here probably every other week because it is that good.I would recommend trying the meat ball ricotta pie, it is amazing.
I've been to Nick's a handful of times and it's always been good times. The Pizza is so delicious. I've eating Pepperoni Pizza, Grandma Style pizza & even Mushrooms & Pepperoni Pizza, they've all been so good. I like that the pies comes out toasty. Also, that the pies are a nice size. The beers are nice & chilled. The service is great. The vibe in general is amazing.
Really great pizza here for a decent price. Got a grandma's pie and my girlfriend and I devoured it along with a bottle of chilled white wine. Service was fantastic and wait staff were very attentive. No wait for a table. Great place for a casual date or just a quick bite. Family friendly as well. Can't wait to go again and try another dish.
Our pizza was burnt and the service was lousy so I'm not sure why the reviews are so good. The server actually forget we were there and had us sitting there starving. I would not recommend or return.
Family and kid-friendly restaurant. My party arrived a few minutes before the restaurant opened, and they were kind enough to let us sit inside and wait. Restaurant is nice and comfortable, not too big but not too small either; enough for one waitress to go around, take orders for everyone, serve, and come back to check on guests. Ordered a house salad, grandma pizza, and a pie. The grandma pizza was half pepperoni and half regular. Their pepperonis are delicious! Nickel-size and juicy. The pie was half regular and half sausage with spinach. I preferred the grandma because it was cheesier; the kind of cheese that stretches for inches. Both were delicious, both are brick oven crunchy, and both prepared fresh. We also ordered brownies for dessert. I wasn’t a fan of it since I like my brownies soft on the outside. The brownies here didn’t taste too much like chocolate, but I can’t put my finger on what it resembles in terms for taste. Overall, I would revisit for the pizza.
Best pizza in the neighborhood, hands-down. They are continuing to (carefully!) serve customers curbside, so I recommend swinging by.
The best pizza in Forest Hills! Just tried the Grandma and it was super delicious. Don’t let the size of the pie fool you, it’s really filling. The crust is thicker compared to their traditional pies.
I have find Nick's Pizza more of an average pizza place. In compartment to other place I would say the taste of pizza is not all that. I had better taste pizza then Nick's. I had Lg mozzarella cheese pizza with garlic on half of the pizza. I felt like garlic overpowered the pizza taste. Then funny thing is that they have black pepper on the table and the guy walks around with pepper crusher around offering that pepper but if you ask for garlic powder they don't have that. That kind of doesn't make sense. Pizzeria must have all the spices available for costumers to use. For beer drinkers it's a great spot to get drunk with bunch of different types of beers. Beer is not my thing anymore. If you visit Nick's Pizza enjoy your stay.
